Reefer Madness

Updated February 2019

This April, Tim will be making his way down to Cumberland, MD for Cumberland Theatre's production of Reefer Madness the Musical! Tim will be performing as Jack Stone, the proprietor of the reefer den, with appearances as Jesus (yeah, that one) and George Washington.

Inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name, this raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence. You won’t be able to resist the spoofy fun of Reefer Madness.

The Cumberland Theatre is Western Maryland's only regional professional theatre presenting musicals, comedies and dramas throughout the year.

The students in Room 207 were the worst-behaved class in the whole school: spitballs stuck to the ceiling; paper airplanes whizzing through the air – even though they had the sweetest teacher of all, Miss Nelson. But when Miss Nelson unexpectedly does not come to school one day, the class gets the strictest substitute they have ever met: Miss Viola Swamp! The search is on for Miss Nelson, who seems to have vanished. Hopefully the students of Room 207 will find her before it's too late – for them!
